Run Hard Running Team - Blue Division

Cost is $90 per participant.

The Run Hard club is an eight week running club for Elementary and Middle Schoolers that equips students to run a 5K. During the season, students train twice a week for about 1 1/2 hours with a focus on endurance training and the Run Hard Core Values. Practice days for individual schools are listed below. Please contact individual schools for specific start and finish times and other school-specific details.

On 5K race day, schools will start in waves that are designated by color. The color for this division is Blue.

Please note: if you chose to register using paper forms, schools may already be full before we receive your form. To be guaranteed a spot, you should register online, which will immediately reserve your spot.

Championship Race

The Run Hard championship race will be held in partnership with the Run Hard Lexington 5K on November 11, 2017 at 8 am.
Runners who qualify and chose to participate must RSVP to jesse@runhard.org by November 8 at 10am.

In order to run in the Run Hard Championship 5K, runners must have qualified in the previous race. The race is optional.

The race location is Lexington County Baseball Stadium located at 474 Ballpark Road, Lexington SC 29072.

Bibs and Check-in
Runners can pick up bibs at the Lexington Half Marathon Expo at Radius Church on Friday, November 10 from 12–7pm or on race day from 6–7 am. Due to street closings, you must arrive no later than 7 am.

This race is free for Run Hard club members that qualified for the championship race and one running buddy that may run with a student for safety reasons. Running buddies will not be timed.
If running buddies wish to be timed, they will need to register for the Run Hard Lexington 5K by visiting lexingtonhalf.com.
Running buddies must be 16 years or older and will need to sign and return the Running Buddy form to the school coaches.

We will award the top finisher per grade.

5K Details

The Run Hard race is a 5k (3.1 mile) on May 5, 2018. Check in begins at 7:00 am and the race begins at 8:00 am.
The race location is Columbiana Mall with the corral area being in the overflow parking lot across from Dillards.
For Run Hard participants, the race will be officially timed, so you can be sure your time will be accurate.
This race is free to all Run Hard club members and one running buddy. Running buddies will not be timed.
Running buddies must be 16 years or older and will need to sign and return the Running Buddy form to the school coaches.

Awards will be given to the top 10 per grade level per gender.


Participants earn rewards along the way. For example, when runners accomplish 1.5 miles they have earned their Run Hard t-shirt. Our goal is to reward participants for working hard to achieve a goal. Upon completion of the program, each participant will have earned a water bottle, dri-fit moisture wicking shirt and finisher medal.
