Lace Up for Lana 5K Run/Walk
Join us for the 1st Annual Lace Up for Lana 5K! Lana Swancey is a 13 year old child from West Columbia, SC with Canavan Disease. Canavan disease is an inherited disorder that causes progressive damage to nerve cells in the brain. This disease is one of a group of genetic disorders called leukodystrophies.
Lana Swancey is the only child in SC, so raising awareness and funds for Canavan Research is our main goal! All proceeds raised will go to Canavan Research and Funding!
You can learn more about Lana and Canavan Disease on Facebook! Thank you for participating and helping us provide funding for Research to cure Canavan Disease.
